CNG Station Developer Breaks Ground on New Facility

Corridor Clean Fuels says it has initiated construction on its previously announced compressed natural gas (CNG) station in Dothan, Ala., which will be branded under Corridor Clean Fuels' Cynergy umbrella.

The company says the facility – co-located with a Home Oil Co. location at 735 Ross Clark Cir. – will be the largest public-access CNG fueling station in the state.

‘The station is designed to provide high-volume Class 5-8 trucks with an efficient CNG fueling experience very similar to fueling with diesel,’ says company chief operating officer Randy Spence. ‘We will also have dispensers designed for the growing light- and medium-duty natural gas vehicle market.’

ANGI Energy Systems will be supplying two 250 hp compressors, a single-vessel regenerative dryer and a three-tube CNG storage package. Two high-flow Kraus dispensers – each capable of delivering an average of approximately 10-12 DGE/minute – will be installed.

Corridor Clean Fuels expects the Dothan station to be operational by this fall.
